I know Valentine’s Day just passed by us somehow, but I wasn’t ready to blog these until now! I don’t often offer limited edition sessions, but I LOVED doing these, and I’m already thinking about what I might try to offer next fall!! It was so much fun to style these sessions, and my amazing previous clients all sold out the entire first weekend’s worth of sessions! I’m truly blessed to be able to do this, honestly. I mean seriously, just look at all these precious families! Thank you so much to everyone who made it such a success!

This is another sweet family from the fall. We decided on downtown Richmond for our location, and it was my first time to shoot there, and boy was it busy! I had nooooo idea how many people did their photoshoots there! It is a beautiful area though, so it makes sense, but unfortunately, we had to do more waiting to use certain spots than I would have liked, BUT we made it work! Thanks again Poole family, for being such troopers that day! How adorable are their sweet kids?
This was one of my sessions from fall 2018! I shared a bunch of these to my Facebook page and have finally gotten around the blogging them! Hope you guys enjoy them. I love this sweet family so much!
Alright. The busy season is officially OVER and I know longer have an excuse to procrastinate!!! I promise promise PROMISE I’m going to try harder to stay on top of blogging this year. It is my one and only goal. I joked about the realest Christmas miracle being that anyone chooses to hire me with my lack of updates anywhere! But like, seriously! I’ve had this session ready to blog for at least 4 months, and that’s kind of embarrassing…does anyone else struggle to find balance among juggling family, friends, life activities, and work? Just me? Anyway, I truly appreciate all of my clients from the bottom of my heart, especially for seeing my website and trusting me on that alone to capture your precious memories. It means everything to me. I love being able to do this for all of you <3
Anyway, this family was yet another amazing family. The dad was so friendly and they were all so hospitable. I loved every moment with them. Their new son was precious of course as well, and a perfect little sleeper to boot! A seriously beautiful family. I hope you’re doing well these days, baby Teddy! Check out his newborn session below:
Words can’t describe what this sweet family means to me!! Over the years, we have grown so close and I am so lucky to have their mom as one of my best friends - and the same for our husbands! It’s one of the biggest blessings when you can become such good friends with people who are in the same season of life as you, whom you can both commiserate with AND share your joys with! So when she asked me to be their photographer, I was of course delighted. I thought it would also help that her youngest ADORES me, but sadly, he wasn’t having any of my charms this day (as evidenced by the last photo! I’m a sucker for the outtakes of crying babies). Sadly it was one of my colder sessions from this season, but we made it work.
