Outdoor Sessions

Welsh Family | Katy, TX Family Photographer

This sweet family was the first to kick off my fall sessions this year! I’m always so, so thankful for each and every family who chooses me to capture these special moments for them. Little Owen is such a fun little boy who was always smiling and eager to play, so we found it very easy to get those big, happy smiles. His 4 month old sister had such a wonderful time herself, that by the end of the session, she had lulled off to sleep! It was a win all around. Such a gorgeous family, don’t you think?

Baby Hazel | Katy, TX Lifestyle Newborn Family Photographer

This family session was a session from this past spring, in the thick of the pandemic. Newborn session typically happen in-home, but with the pandemic restrictions, we opted for outdoors to be safe. It was HOT. It was full of mosquitos. BUT it was also full of so much LOVE! I’m hoping to not be so behind in updating with the ones from this fall. I am so consistently blessed to be a part of my clients lives and memories. Thank you for choosing me!

I’m so inspired by all those who have had babies during these uncertain times. I know it may not have turned out to be like anyone expected, but ALL of you are such strong mommas! May God bless this sweet family for years to come.

Olivia and Sabrina | Katy, TX Family Photographer

Can you believe, as a photographer, that my girls had never even SEEN a bluebonnet before?! I know…not only #photographerfail, but HUGE mom fail and TEXAN fail, too! Usually we’re just so busy I never have time to go hunting any down, but this year, with the pandemic and the lockdowns, we were able to enjoy the stillness of life and hunt down a spot! And they loved it so much, I’m sure they’ll be begging to do it again next spring!

I love photographing children. It doesn’t matter if they don’t listen - some of the best shots come from those in-between moments, when they’re exploring with the inquisitive wonder only a child can hold for the world around them.

Angela | Katy, TX Maternity Photographer

I feel like it’s not too often I get to shoot maternity sessions, which is understandable. There is SO much talent out there in the maternity photography world, especially here in Houston, so I treasure each one I DO get to photograph! Sweet Angela here had never actually had professional portraits done when she was pregnant with either of her previous boys (which you would never guess, right, because she looks like such a posing pro)! Pregnant now with a beautiful girl, she wanted to commemorate the special occasion. If you can believe it, this was a mini session here in Katy, TX completed in about twenty minutes, right before the approaching storm started unleashing rain on the area! We managed to fit it in. She’s wearing a gown from my client closet as well - my favorite, actually! I love the off the shoulder sleeves. And wow, look at her - so glamorous and glowing! She looks like a movie star. I hope she cherishes these photos of her with her growing girl for years to come.

Perry Family | Family Portrait Photographer in Katy, TX

I have been so blessed over these few years in the portrait photography business here in Katy, TX to see repeat clients. It truly means the world to me that people love their experience with me to continue to choose me, and I love getting to watch your families grow. Obviously, I wish ever session that brought us together was a joyous one, but sometimes the toughest moments need capturing too. It was with a heavy heart that some of my former clients contacted me over the holidays for an extended family session to commemorate what would be some of their last moments altogether with their mom.

I don’t want to give away too many details, but for this session, we focused on happiness - remembering the good to times, and capturing the love they all have for each other. It was a beautiful session and I’m so blessed to have been able to be a part of it all. God bless this family!

And because I treasure this sweet family, I also tried my hand at a special composite image for them as well!
